Will Alberto Ginés López Win The Olympics?

Initially it wasn’t thought that Alberto would get a medal or even place in the top eight, making it to the finals. However his training in the past year has really paid off and his Speed times were consistently coming down. His main strength is in Lead but he is a strong Boulderer – though not suited to the more modern, co-ordination style that’s in favor.

There is a chance that Alberto Ginés López could take a medal if he gets lucky in Speed climbing, does well in Lead, and places above the middle in Bouldering. It’s an outside chance that relies on others not performing at their best but it is possible.
